LSEG - Workspace
Project | 01
Synopsis
Working with LSEG's Corporate Treasury product owner and LSEG's trading app Workspace, I had the unique opportunity to create the vision for how the product might better serve an underrepresented user base; Corporate Treasurers and team structures.
Initially, the stakeholders had little information regarding customer workflows and needs except for previous career experience within a corporate treasury department in a previous job. Working together, we agreed on some assumptions and I explained and pushed for research in order to validate the assumptions.
Working with the product owner, we identified 10 external candidates and scheduled 30min interviews, I created a guide and captured insights and patterns that would help kick off an initial design process with informed behaviour and workflows serving as communicable and supported evidence for product user requirements.
Requirements were translated into low fidelity wireframes for content definition and speedy iteration and content validation.

Research
Interview output
30 minute interviews were conducted with 10
external clients. Capturing, workflows, tools, pain points and ideals/needs.

Primary / Secondary research
Where required I asked the interviewee to share specific references during the interview so I could capture detail and reference points. In this case, the interviewee demonstrated how he used the Bloomberg terminal to complete his task.

Identifying Tools and Requirements
For each workflow area, I captured what tools are used and then researched the detail for workflow and tools. I ensured that I had an understanding as to the depth of knowledge that would be required for each area to complete a task. This helped identify requirements, in terms of what level of functionality and drill down would be required by the CORPT team persona.

Wireframe Samples
Low fidelity wire frames in Figma. Design centred around a dashboard that acted like an application so rather than wireframe flows there are two aspects; widget property configuration and 1 level of drill down to see further data but removing complexity in LSEG WS app that comes with deeper usage (i.e. FX Trader persona)
