Synopsis

Orange Wednesday 2 1 cinema tickets is one of the longest running marketing campaigns to have existed in the UK which attracted and retained many customers for Orange and accounted for 3m additional cinema trips per year.

To ensure the campaign extended to all our customers via apps, it was important that we had a presence across platforms and devices which included Windows Phone 8.1 which grew in popularity.

The Windows Phone solution enabled users to find nearest cinemas on a map and get their 2 for 1 offer. Users could easily send a cinema invite to a friend along with a link to the suggested film. The app provided a grid layout showing the latest film releases, along with film details, trailers and written film reviews created by Orange Wednesday customers via the app.
